Cybercriminals have been evolving their business models for years because, for them, it <strong><em>is </em></strong>a business.  Having operations that specialize in one particular aspect of the criminal enterprise is no different than legitimate companies that service different links in the supply chain.</p> <p> </p> <p>Until the international law enforcement community is able to put a dent in these cybercriminal organizations, organizations will have to do their best to keep them out and minimize the damage when they do get in. Having a well-educated user community, a properly trained and equipped security operations team, and a mature and complete security stack, are vital against criminal organizations that operate less like a crime gang and more like mature businesses.</p>
